Installation Orientation | Horizontal Alignment Required:
All Red Meters must be installed in a horizontal orientation, with a tilt of no more than 15 degrees from level. This ensures accurate performance and long-term durability of the system.
Power Requirements | Standard Power Supply:
Red Meters operate on 120V AC as standard. If your site requires a different voltage configuration, please indicate so — upgrades can be accommodated upon request.
Vacuum Conditions | Important Operational Note:
Red Meter products are not compatible with vacuum conditions (i.e., negative pressures below 0 psi). For optimal performance and to avoid damage or failure, we strongly recommend the installation of a vacuum relief valve if any vacuum is present in your process line.
Disclaimer
: Red Meters is not responsible for performance issues or damage resulting from vacuum exposure if a relief valve is not installed.
Mating Flange Type | Standard Flange:
All Red Meters are supplied with ANSI 150 mating flanges as standard. Alternate flange types and sizes are available upon request. Please specify your requirements during the estimate process. Note: Custom flange selections may be subject to additional costs depending on size, material, or specification changes.
Crating & Packaging | Crate Included:
Each Red Meter order includes a durable ISPM 15 stamped wooden crate, built to meet international shipping standards. Crating covers both parts and labor, ensuring your unit is securely packed and protected during transport. Crates are suitable for both domestic and international freight requirements.
